Started migrating my manually created VMs to Vagrant (kind of like Docker but for VMs) — seems quite handy. Here's a simple Vagrantfile for VirtualBox-based custom Ubuntu Bionic box with GUI. Composed from a few StackOverflow responses.

The biggest downside of Vagrant I noticed so far is that it's missing proper VMware integration. It's kind of there (for 79 bucks), but there are no official base boxes with e.g. Ubuntu.
