I feel that I'm starting to understand how hackerspaces appear. I do some lockpicking and hardware hacking as a hobby, and at this point I've accumulated 32 kilos (!) of lockpicking-related stuff. Similarly with hardware — a few boxes of USB/PCIe/Wi-Fi hacking tools.

And currently all that stuff is mostly just lying around in my apartment. Wouldn't it be cool to have a place where I could put all these tools and invite people to use them?.. Oh.
(And I haven't gotten to NFC/RFID/smart-cards or SDRs yet, otherwise it would've been much worse.)
