Men of all races are dying off....period. Gonna be Amazons running things in a generation or two.

It’s actually only European Whites and East Asians that consistently have below replacement birthrates. The Rest are doing fine. But by all means play down the importance..
-
Who the hell would want to live in country ruled by blacks? There all awful.
-
I don’t know. Just take a look at immigration.. blacks don’t even want to live under blacks..

Love it when politicians make sense.

Yup. A progressive who cares about poor white people. Liberal heads will EXPLODE. They can't call him a racist (he's Asian) and the right can't call him an SJW because he's acknowledging poor white people. Dude is smart. I genuinely believe he might win. It's perfect populism.
-
Perfect populism is a historically elusive concept. It never works out except bringing a cult of personality and elementary-level solutions to intricate complex problems. As economic inequality widens, populist on both sides will find traction.
-
Well as inequality widens, things like UBI and M4A should be much more universally desired. That's perfect populism in my mind. As time goes on, poor right wingers will move towards UBI unless they wish to remain destitute. Things like immigration might always be divisive.

I’m not sure current demographics support adding costly programs. Boomers are quickly phasing out of being tax payers and Gen X is smallest gen in US history. I’m not sure we have the tax base until millenniums are 50+ and into their high tax paying years.
-
I disagree, I think the popularity of people like Andrew, Bernie and AOC proves there is a large hunger for social programs and people like Elon Musk, Andrew Yang and others consider UBI inevitable due to automation. Trump's populism has failed (pretty badly). we'll go left now.
-
You disagree with demographics? Our tax base is retiring without another in sight until millenniums reach 50+. Id need to see more of a comprehensive plan before more debt is added. $22t is already a national security issue.
-
I disagree with your assessment that there is some large fiscally conservative voting demographic out there among the poor millenials and Gen z'ers who are so worried about national debt that they'd rather not have healthcare. MMT doesn't worry about deficits. u sound republican

Wow a candidate who isn't celebrating the "end" of White people...and he's Asian! Probably won't get in.

What people on this thread need to understand is that its not that the Dem Party hates white people... its that they just don't care if they are poor and struggling. Its not hatred, its apathy, and its class based. When MLK marched on Washington, he marched for poor whites, too
-
No, it's anti-white hatred.

We've seen something similar to this in many western European nations and Japan. Very low birthrates and very high median population age is affecting economic growth, new business, and social change. Aging populations aren't robust, people get "left behind", lower quality of life
-
That's true, it' doesn't look like Japan has very many immigrants either.pic.twitter.com/YCcjpz06eV
-
Despite what many economist's want you to think this is the reason why Japan has had roughly 20 years of economic stagnation. Many EU nations close behind, US at ~38 year median has a way to go still.
-
I don't know what economists you are referring to but I like these ones:http://freakonomics.com/podcast/why-are-japanese-homes-disposable-a-new-freakonomics-radio-podcast-3/ …
-
There's a ton of articles on the "Japanese economic malaise" or words to that effect. Since late 1990's, almost no growth and insanely low interest rates.
-
yeah, it has been abysmal for such a long time.
