Media Options appears to have acquired Clear(.)com from Sprint Communications. The domain transferred out of corporate domain registrar CSC on Nov 28, 2019 to GoDaddy and now redirects to mediaoptions.com/clear which appears to be a new offering. It's not clear when MO acquired.

Something most domain investors miss is that the price an end user will pay for a Domain Name is usually determined by the next best alternative. Unless the domain in question is a "MUST HAVE", which is rare. The size or identity of the buyer has no bearing on price.
