Quick, without googling it, what's the difference between a 16-bit PNG and a 16-bit TIFF?

Apparently both are lossless but TIFF supports layers and RGB + CYMK, whereas PNG has no layers and only RGB.

The PNG (Portable Network Graphics) format comes close to TIFF in quality and is ideal for complex images. ... Unlike JPEG, TIFF uses a lossless compression algorithm in order to preserve as much quality in the image.

PNG is the sound your round makes when you hit the target. TIFF is the sound it makes when whizzes past and hits the dirt.
