Seems unlikely I'm complex in one place but simplistic in another. Maybe I write deeply complex and individualized women characters but also understand female looks are central to both men's perceptions and women's sense of self and this is not a social construct? Just a thought.

just picked up “When Christmas Comes” and couldn’t put it down. Then saw “A Strange Habit of Mind” and immediately bought the kindle book. Loved it! Cannot wait for more Cameron Winter books! Guess I’ll have to start re-reading “Another Kingdom” in the meantime.

Read “When Christmas Comes” today - start to finish - incredible. Like a Grisham story except with depth. Klavan, you may need to stop your other stuff and focus only on writing. :)
