Screen replacement’s not an option?
Let’s say I ran down the stairs to catch a subway as someone else was running down the stairs. I peeled in front and turned in and they ran into me. Their phone dropped and shattered. Do I owe them a new phone? Hypothetical, of course.

If the difference of rudeness over clumsiness is greater than the difference of socio-economic statuses, you owe them an equivalent percentage of a replacement device.

Obviously the owner of the phone has the luxury of holding it while running. My $800 phone is secure when I move. They can get another. Fook em
