The attack on "intellectual elites" is what got us George Bush and now Donald Trump. Because some people can't handle facts that prove them wrong. This denigration of intellect is destroying our country.

Actually, I do have to agree with one part of this. I do think we're better than politicians who try to date middle and high schoolers, who would sell our Democracy to Russia, and who would try to ensure sick kids die from lack of care. Yep. We're better. (Public college grad)
