I earned my $16/ hr job over 10 years ago, it took lots of hard work to get a job that paid that well, I also received commission. The minimum wage is designed as a stepping stone, to get experience, & move up, not make a life out of working at McDs or Wal-Mart

I have a GED and through hard work, showing up on time EVERY DAY, taking the initiative to LEARN about my industry and not popping out mouths I couldn't afford, I have consistently earned more than 15/hr over the last 20 years.
