The non-stop clapping at the #SOTU has always been an issue for me. No matter who delivers it. Take it from @SeinfeldTV, who stopped the audience from clapping every time Kramer appeared following Season 4. It made the show much more enjoyable.

This is one of the worst displays I’ve seen. So contrived. Trump could tell a story about strangling a kitten the the GOP will stand and applaud. Hell, he can strangle it at the podium and get the adulation.
