One hitch: POTUS wanted payments to go directly to unemployed Americans, Dems insisted payments go through states.

The states took over a month to release fed rescue funds to the unemployed. The Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) filing system in California was finally set up today April 28th. That almost 2 MONTHS with no income. I've tried all day to file my CA PUA claim get kicked out

On Friday I was finally able to provide my bank account information to the IRS for my Fed Stimulus money to be direct deposited. The IRS Get My Payment now reads pending will notified me when stimulus payment will be process. So I have received ZERO MONEY since states shutdown.

You must look at the reasoning behind it. The more stops your payment makes, the more delayed and unlikely you might get that payment, ie Red Cross. Donate to Red Cross and it goes to tons of various charities - each step takes an “admin cost” cut.
