Here is what will happen if you force them to do that: AWS, which earns most of the profits and emplys just techies, will be separated out as an independent company. The unprofitable e-commerce arm that remains won’t be able to raise pay.

Yep. As long as they don't pay taxes they can cut their profits in half and give everyone a $3 an hour raise! Life changing $$ How about everyone who doesn't net 10 billion?
