Good. People are normally forced to be submissive to their employers and if done in a large scale this is the best opportunity to demand a significant change to the work relationship and decrease wealth inequality.

😂😂😂😂 Ever do the math on spreading 25 million over 50,000 employees? Wanna guess how big their raise is?

Amazon has ~750K employees and made $10.1B net profit last year. Not including stock options, the company could certainly afford to pay considerable increases in wages.

That is only 11% of their gross profit. A good net profit is anywhere between 15-17%. They post low profit margins, always have. Increasing minimum wages hurt their employees. And they create more jobs elsewhere by investing in small businesses.https://fortune.com/2018/10/03/amazon-warehouse-workers-minimum-wage-incentives-stock-options/ …

Here is what will happen if you force them to do that: AWS, which earns most of the profits and emplys just techies, will be separated out as an independent company. The unprofitable e-commerce arm that remains won’t be able to raise pay.

Yep. As long as they don't pay taxes they can cut their profits in half and give everyone a $3 an hour raise! Life changing $$ How about everyone who doesn't net 10 billion?
