NYC is the epicenter and it will make its way throughout the entire country. Also, the # of cases is based off a severe lack of tests. These numbers are far worse in reality throughout the entire country.

Make it's way, yes. How remains to be seen. That the infected rates must be much higher is worse but also not- because it brings the calculation for mortality down. The question is if that offsets the volume issue. We don't know yet.
