what late action? What would you have done? How do you stop a virus that has been here longer than we think it has? How do you stop a virus that doesn't respect borders, world leaders or governments? Tell us oh wise one.
Not taking funding from the White House pandemic team that was established in 2014 to prevent/contain situations just like this. Trump did that in 2018. Not calling it a “hoax”, not politicizing it, not telling people to go to work, putting a plan in place at airports... more?

He never called it a hoax. He did everything he could from the start without causing mass hysteria beyond what we are seeing now. We are doing much better than Europe at this point. Blame the Chinese for this. Until you can do that, your accusations don't ring true.
