Not to be an alarmist, but I can’t stop thinking I’ve already had Covid19. I was in Indonesia for 3 weeks and then Hong Kong for 24 hrs at the end of December. I then became ill for nearly 3 weeks in January w/ all the symptoms. It got so bad, I went to urgent care to get tested.

Urgent care did swabs for the flu and strep, both of which I tested negative for. I was told I had a viral respiratory infection and that “something was going around” in the area. This was early January. There was no talk of novel coronavirus at this time.

I didn’t have much contact with friends/family until the last week of being sick. None became ill that I know. I was feeling about 75% better when I traveled to Europe on Jan 24. Could this all be in my head? Yes. But I’m anxious that this has been here longer than we think.

I had illness in November. Started w high fever for four days, moving into a cough. It was extremely scary. Never had such anillness. This was diff. When discussing it w people “it had been going around”. Everyone I spoke w after (who had it in jan, feb) same, specific symptoms.

I believe we've been seeing it for 1-2 mths, lots of flulike sx with neg flu tests. We weren't testing for it till now. Still not. Like the flu once you start testing the numbers go up. Like the flu, most will recovery with no incident while others have secondary infections/sx.

My 78 year old dad has been struggling with an unknown respiratory illness for like 3 months. He’s on oxygen now & doing better. I also wonder.

I have been wondering the same thing about myself. I was very ill from mid-December to mid-Feb. I talked to my doctors at least three times in that period and had one chest x-rays, but no tests. I finally kicked the last of it with a short dose of antibiotics during Week 8.

Same here. I got taken down hard on Feb 2nd. Joanna got hit first ca. Jan 27th. I hadn’t gotten the flu in the 10+ years I’ve been getting the flu shot so was wondering what was going on, and all the symptoms fit the description based on accounts I have read. Makes perfect sense.
