Because the # has been registered to someone else, I can't log on to the Verizon site to cancel this or even request a pw to log in b/c it will go to someone else's email. I've called my credit card company who says they can't stop the autopay & that I need to speak to Verizon.
I've since spent hours on the phone and went in person to a Verizon store. They have stated that they don't have control over this (?!) and that I must speak to my credit card company. This is ridiculous.
Getting this Autopay removed for an account you are not able to use is very important. Please follow and DM us to start a discussion. *CCF
My bank now states they can reimburse charges from December, but are unable to reimburse anything between August - November. Your move @VZWSupport @verizon
Contact your credit card company & report it to Fraud Drpt. Get a new, replacement card.
Already did - and it got transferred to my new credit card.
Also maybe consider a small claims action against @Verizon
Cancel your card and get a new one. A pain, I know, but it seems like the only way.
