Under the proposals, no one is out to take your rifle... unless it falls under the “assault weapon” category, to which you are grandfathered in and they won’t take it so long as you register the weapon

As a veteran, I have a duty to stand up to the abuse of power of States that try to do things like try to prevent me from buying a rifle. Otherwise I'd be an oath breaker.

Cool story. I'm not worried about it actually, because I will simply ignore anything that the state has no power to do, like prevent me from buying a rifle. I will continue to buy rifles. If they try to do anything about it, I will have standing and take it to SCOTUS to overturn.
