In Finland they realized that the “rewards” system for homeless didn’t worked,to be able to control your life you need a stable env. (a.k.a home),they are giving homeless a home from the get go,so they can focus on the rest and not where they will sleep tonight. It’s working...

Yeah cuz laziness created the affordable housing crisis in CA n beyond, lack of access to MH services, a failed war on drugs that create barriers that use housing as punishment, and not a basic human need. So lazy.

There’s an affordable housing crisis in this country, and it’s growing. People are struggling to gain a foothold that can be taken away with one lost paycheck, a car repair, a sick kid ... it’s much more complicated than any one political party can pin on the other.
