More than anything, I have questions about what kind of highflying, loosey-goosey lifestyle you lead to be able to drop hundos on an unplanned trip to remain elite status with a below par airline. Also @AmericanAir social person needs the sack for this awful response.

I honestly don't get the hate for AA on this. Do they owe something to the guy who had a bad time in Mexico while pursuing some hyper elite status because they wouldn't arbitrarily bend their rules to just give him that status?
I’m outraged at $300 for 2 beers. Let us know where that was to save us the same misery.
