If the moral you draw from this is that AA is the bad guy, you’re what’s wrong with people today. Keeping ExecPlat isn’t a life and death thing, and if you book a trip to a know dangerous locale like Mexico, you only have yourself to blame.
My only gripe with American is wanting to charge me $1875 when I was short only $275. Let me pay the damn amount and everybody wins! They changed their policy a year ago so now they make up inflated costs to maintain status, even if you’re a little under.
