They were socialists in many ways. Their 25 point plan lays this out pretty clearly in the support of nationalization of companies + the responsibility of the state to care for all Germans. In Mein Kampf, Hitler says his ideology only differs from Marxism in H’s emphasis on race.

Though of course Marx was deeply anti-Semitic himself, as seen in On The Jewish Question. It’s no wonder many of his adherents today, like Corbyn, still display their own anti Semitism.
