"Christianity Today" hasn’t been an Evangelical magazine since Mark Galli took over as editor. He’s short on scripture, long on progressive social causes, frankly closer to liberal Catholics than his magazine’s founder Billy Graham.

He was not a progressive socialist. He asked people (not government) to help the poor and truly needy. By taxing the rich, they aren’t going to get into heaven. Government can never offer salvation.https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2016:19-31&version=NIV …
