A woman called 911 and blocked this Hispanic man and his two children from visiting their aunt in an apartment building in NYC (Alphabet City) because he refused to give her details of who he was visiting. #Gentrificationpic.twitter.com/zeMT7qjZg3

The man is Alfredo Sandoval. He is now working with lawmakers on legislation to protect people against unlawful invasion of privacy of guests/visitors in buildings. Oh, and he wants to build a crowdfunding platform so he can buy his aunt’s building. 🔥🔥🔥pic.twitter.com/zjm4E23KsK

I have a fob to enter my office building (where I own my unit) & must buzz patients in. I must scan an ID card to enter my university office building & dorms. Guests must be escorted in. Every buliding I've lived in had security doors/buzzers. This is typical where I live & work.

I mean, that was the case in the dorm at college. But every apartment I've ever lived in, not so much.

Following Alfredo. Supporting Alfredo. What an outrage.
