A man in a #MAGA hat was caught on video spraying bear mace at anti-Trump protesters. The video also shows the man pleading w/ police, claiming anti-Trump protesters attacked him, calling them “fucking libtards” & “commies.” The video shows no such thing.https://youtu.be/FPMCkdD54VA
MAGA guy is also a Proud Boy named David Dempsey. Thank you for pointing that out @politicalsculpt. And of course, he’s friends w/ violent homophobe Brandon Recor of @ThatsThePointB1, who @Liz_Wheeler & @mrandyngo falsely claimed was an innocent guy who got attacked in Portland.

So turns out: 1. He was on parole (so having pepper spray violates his parole) 2. Was a convicted felon (so cannot legally carry pepper spray in CA) 3. Just for discharging it alone could get 1-3 years in prison (plus the additional for reasons above) Guess he'll sit out 2020.
