I just found out that visitors to Las Vegas consume 60,000 pounds of shrimp every day, which is enough to cover all of Tianamen Square in 2 1/2 feet of shrimp. Every. Day.

How did you do that math, since weight and surface area are not comparable units of measure? Just curious. What’s the average surface are of the shadow of a shrimp at noon?
