Christopher Columbus didn't commit genocide. Within 200 years of Columbus's arrival, 95% of the 20M Native Americans died... from disease. Smallpox, flu, tuberculosis, malaria, plague, measles, cholera. Tragic, definitely. But mass murder by Columbus? Not even close.
His own journals prove otherwise. Why must you lie about everything?

She left out alot of facts from my ancestry. I guess she's saying it wasn't him personally who held them captive, slaughtered them, gave them infected blankets, stole their land on and on and on.
Those diseases were the reasons why most of the native populations died. That is a fact.
Who's journals? Those were not written by Columbus. They were faked after his death
He was honestly an awful person. I don't understand people's defense of him. Support his action of discovering the Americas but it's false to paint him as some moral hero
