He’s the fucking president. We know media spins shit. I don’t like it anymore than you do. But the president of the “free” world is a pathological liar - every single day. It’s his job to lead by example. The rot starts from the top.

Trumps “lies” are more hyperbole, but are directionally accurate towards the truth. Other politicians flat out lie shamelessly on a consistent basis.
Stereotype 1: lying politicians. Stereotype 2: Media being arbiters of truth. Many not very bright people subscribe the latter.
There is always a grain a truth to what he says because most of us actually listen to and read the words he speaks. It's also amusing to watch the media go berserk over his statements when he always has a particular target. Ex. Baltimore. He's going after fraud & corruption.
In this context your point is as irrelevant as noting that measles depresses the immune system. The article Tim was sighting was a blatant lie by a journalist. The headline was directly contradicted within the article itself. I used to think a journalist's job is the truth...
and what I've learned in the past three years is that I was wrong. A journalist's job is apparently to produce propaganda. I now treat almost all journalist's as if they are propagandists, and I am far from alone in this.
It's the other way around dude. Politicians spin, the media should be factual and pursue the truth.
