10 years ago I started receiving group emails from a couple traveling around the country. They were sweet but it was obvious that they didn’t know me at all. I didn’t say anything to them because I enjoyed the trip updates. This went on for 5 years.
There is an Andrew Kimmel somewhere in the midwest who uses my email for all his in-store purchase receipts. I keep thinking my credit card has been stolen, but now realize the guy might legitimately not remember his own email. I'm also part of the parent/teacher newsletter

My current wired world nightmare: Someone used my work mobile number to register for one of the car shopping sites. Get at least ten calls a week promising to “get me into the best priced Nissan Altima of my dreams.”

There is real estate agent with my name that gave out my email address as his own and I started receiving loan applications and all sorts of things I didn’t want. I had to call him to tell him to correct his mistake. It’s weird talking to “yourself.”
