As you can see, listed under requirements for social sciences, a student is required to complete one of four courses from List B: APG 203: Cultural Anthropology SOC 240: Race and Ethnic Relations SOC 242: Sex and Gender WGS 150: Intro to Women’s and Gender Studies

So, while “Feminism 101” was an option for @RealCandaceO to fulfill a requirement, it was not the only option. This is quite misleading.

But here’s a good question: why shouldn’t every student in a college degree program be exposed to basic concepts on race, gender, and sexuality? Why do conservatives rant about “safe spaces” and champion “the marketplace of ideas” only when it’s convenient?
