How do you consider yourself a news host when the proposals are public knowledge & you purposefully disregard mentioning them? The tax wouldn’t just fall on the rich as middle class investors in mutual/index funds would bear a large share of the burden. On even just a 1,000 trade this tax would exceed the cost of a commission. It’s a terrible idea (and already terrible in the buy side in the UK)
