So sorry you're going through this. My bipolar nephew killed himself in January and we felt relief, and guilt at feeling relief. There are no good answers, given that we live in the greatest country on earth with dysfunctional government and healthcare. Take care of yourselves.
I am so sorry to hear that. I have found that is a common feeling from loved ones who deal with this. So many times I've thought how much easier life would be if she were dead. A fucking horrible feeling. Mental illness is truly the darkest disease.
You have my attention and sympathy. We dealt with this years ago. Our loved one would be violent and we would call for the Emergency Psychiatric Team.
