Seriously asking, what protective measures did you take?
Zero. The radiation levels are considered safe for short-term exposure. Although water did drop on my head from the ceiling when I was walking in the school

I think PBS did a special a few years back; short term was what, 30 minutes in the ghost town (1 minute in the forests where significant radioactivity was still found)?

We had about an hour to walk around on our own through the school and spent about 15 min in the forest... which had swarms of mosquitoes
