This was a plea bargain because the prosecution didn’t think it was a slam dunk and because the family didn’t want to go through a trial. It’s not really fair to call the judge out like this when he refused to grant first offender status.

As we all know, judges have the discretion to reject plea deals. Letting a predator go free makes him unfit for office.

Regardless of gender, it needs to be a mandatory federal and state law that sexual consent is the legal age of 18.

And that no one can get married before 16, not even with parental consent. The amount of abusers who go after young teens and then marry them so they can continue to abuse them is revolting.
