For those of you who aren't fans of
@HighCastleTV, the show is about an alternate United States if the Nazis won World War II. "Edelweiss" is the song in the opening credits and it's creepy AF.pic.twitter.com/21LJ7A9ez921 replies 4 retweets 12 likesShow this thread -
Guys, I know about The Sound of Music, JFC! If you haven’t seen Man in the High Castle you don’t get it.

Or...we DO get it, and it's anti-Nazi in both iterations! Or maybe Trump is secretly a Nazi and this is his way of letting other Nazi onto the secret! I think you're onto something here!https://www.theatlantic.com/entertainment/archive/2015/11/edelweiss-an-american-song-for-an-american-dystopia/417285/ …

What is your point? Because you appear to be implying it's being used by the Trump camp in a pro-Nazi usage...when at no point in its history has it ever been pro-Nazi. It is explicitly about political dissent and anti-nazism. Spell out your point using adult words!

Clearly I have to point it out in middle school words because it went over your head. It is what we call irony. A song to intro a show about a dystopian fascist America is the on the playlist in the White House post-Mueller report as our country sinks deeper into a neofascist era

Ah that clears it up! I didn't realize we were sinking deeper into a neofascist era until some super not-out-of-touch TV lackey pointed it out to me! Tell me more about this neofascist era where our fascist rulers play anti-fascist anthems! Does the fire department make fires?

Was covering live news events from the field since 2016 bub. Including Charlottesville, Standing Rock, and actual Nazi rallies. Perhaps I saw you at one of those?

David Attenborough: With his standing in society questioned, the "journalist" smugly lists his rather meager accomplishments before hurling out accusations of Nazism. He finishes with a final "Orange man bad" before the toil of thinking renders him useless & incapable of reason.

Let’s hear you record that - can use it for my meager reel
