Dont let them keep profits, pay execs, and run away from responsibility this way. People in charge should lose every dime and go to jail.
It won’t be a good outcome. They’ll use it for passing their debt onto the taxpayer and restructuring, considering it their right for helping manufacture the opioid crisis. It’s companies like them (and Pfizer) that are the reason we have a clinical trials registry.
