      If these fed employees can’t feed themselves after 2 missed checks i sure hope none of them are handling finances for the country. I could easily survive a few months on just credit cards nvm savings if I lost my job

      Sure says something about us as a country when Federal workers, who were once envied as proud middle income earners, are living paycheck to paycheck in the "greatest economy". Clearly something is wrong here.

      I live pretty well and i bet 95% of those workers make more than me. I think the workers must have poor financial skills

      They could very well make more than you, but perhaps they live in a location where the cost of living with food, gas, rent is much higher than where you are located. I’d be living very well in Alabama with what I make, but I struggle in the city where I am now.
