Wouldn't this stifle progress? What of Google, amazon, apple, etc had to pay 70% of their income in tax? Where does that leave profits to re invest and push technologies further? I don't see Denmark, Sweden and Norway on the leading edge of tech.

Ohhhh so that makes it better! You don’t have to pay it so ... free stuff! I’d have *slightly* more respect for these grubby-handed lefties if they proposed 70% across the board for their wacky programs. But they get their support from those who want other peoples’ money.

Let's apply the 70% marginal tax rate to campaigns that raise over 10 Million dollars. Wait ... wait ... I know ..... you didn't mean Bernie's money ... you meant everybody else's money.

That's not Bernie's personal funds, that's his Foundation. That being said, organisations evading their due tax in America is a common problem that needs addressing. I think we'd be proud to see Bernie leading by example.
