The change you should be focusing on is political. Accusing people of individually being wasteful while they’re politically active for environmental causes is not just counterproductive to the cause, it’s stupid. He could drop dead tomorrow and the planet would be no better off.

You may feel good about recycling your trash or turning down the heat, but you’re not actually doing much worthwhile with your time. We have to force the industries that cause the 90%+ of pollution to change. Political activism is what all environmentalist ought to prioritize.

To put this into perspective, I spent just over $13K last year on flights. Me. Not a candidate campaigning for the presidency of 50 states.
