Even my correction was not quite right. And these numbers are somewhat tricky in how things get counted and they more than likely undercount opioid deaths. Tough to do right by such a complicated topic, but its good to see efforts to hold the Sacker’s to account for their role.

Agreed. The CDC actually admitted that they counted wrong. If a person dies w any prescribed med in system or diverted med no matter if with other illegal meds or diff cause all together I believe it is counted. It’s quiet confusing the percentage very low for those legally prb
