To those that keep messaging me saying the Aztecs were savages because they ate their people (as if that’s an excuse for genocide), the English began eating each other in the winter of 1609-1610 in Virginia, as written by the colony’s Lt Gov, George Percy.

The aztecs murdered other people's people in mass slaughters .. they were utter savages who did not killed people due to starvation.

The Aztecs did not kill “many more” people. The numbers were grossly inflated by the Spanish to paint them more barbaric. Yes, they committed human sacrifices, but not of foreigners. The Aztec gov’t actually forbade the killing of captives for religious purposes
