While I agree that the government should never have a role in playing executioner for anyone, I find it unacceptable that any legislation have religious grounding or basis. End the death penalty simply because it is unethical.

U would say those dumb things if ur family member was murdered or raped. Wise up, the law is to protect those that respect it and those that break it need to pay for their crimes.

Why not stand with the pope on other things like abortion and marriage. You only use him when you want to. I say increase the death penalty and keep gang and drug dealers in jail longer and you’ll reduce the gun deaths.
