Life saving legislation? That’s BS. The cameras have one purpose. Generate revenue for state and local government. Are you dumb enough to think that a red light camera will prevent someone from getting hit? It’s just another way for you to steal from NY citizens.

Speed cameras = revenue, the exact same results can be obtained with proper traffic engineering. Unlike the camera proper engineering works 24/7 and actually forces the driver to slow down. - We have known this for years, but it was unpopular.
