With Kavanaugh’s appointment, Republicans in the State Senate can no longer hide behind Roe v Wade. Now, they have to choose: Return to Albany and vote to protect reproductive rights or NY will vote you out.

Currently, Roe v Wade goes further than NY state law in protecting reproductive choice. Abortion is still in the penal code. With Roe on the line, this cannot stand. Republicans need to choose: Vote for Roe or we’ll vote you out.
