…(2/3) Because U.S. did not “lockdown” in 1957-8, as noted by great epidemiologist D.A. Henderson, the H2N2 pandemic “did not appear to have a significant impact on the U.S. economy” http://www.upmc-biosecurity.org/website/resources/publications/2009/2009-08-05-public_health_medical_responses_1957.html …

3/3 Henderson also observed, re: 1957-8: “Measures were generally not taken to close schools or recommend wearing masks; Quarantine was obviously useless because of the large number of travelers & frequency of mild or inapparent cases” http://www.upmc-biosecurity.org/website/resources/publications/2009/2009-08-05-public_health_medical_responses_1957.html …

Stratified for the extreme older age risk, if you didn’t take your prom date to see Gone With The Wind in the theaters, it’s less than the flu.

The public health weenies did not dream up the unprecedented, pseudoscience "lockdowns" this year. The bogus lockdown computer models were made in 2006.https://twitter.com/LetsStopTheLies/status/1263070153773912065?s=20 …

Don't compare this to HIV That's not an airborne disease. You only get HIV through direct fluid transfer. Ie blood transfusion, sex , among other ways. You do not get it sitting next to someone with it

What is IFR of regular flu? I can only find articles online selling why it’s so much worse than flu. Is it .1 ?

Yes thats the average for normal flu 0.1%. Some flus are worse considered “bad flus”. If including those flus the number can range anywhere 0.1% to 0.5%. While covid19 may be worse than normal flu it is within range of “bad flu” or slightly worse. WHO estimated covid 3.4%.🙄WTF.
