Belgium has banned mass gatherings until 31 Aug, the day after its GP. But context is F1 has effectively ripped up the calendar and is starting again. So the race can’t take place on its original date. But, as with others, that doesn’t necessarily mean it can’t take place at all
Of course some races will fall by the wayside, but right now it’s not possible to know which ones or how many. It will depend on a number of factors - money, to a large degree, but also logistics, ease of running and, in current circumstances, need, among other things
And to emphasise this point, F1 has just released an update of its app, saying it is “working with our promoters on a revised 2020 calendar with the actual sequence and schedule of dates for races likely to differ significantly from our original calendar”
Do you believe that this season will happen at all?
The season is done Andrew.
I think if we do race at all this year, the European races are by far the most likely to get re-scheduled.
Seasonal issues a factor too. It could be hard to run European events moving in to the winter.
Make them more interesting threat of rain low tyre temps etc

Do you think other tracks not on the current calendar will be asked to step in and host races, for example Hockenheim or Sepang ?
I have (had?) tickets to Canada this year, and even if they do re-schedule it, there is no way I would actually attend a 100k person event right now.
I don't understand why COVID-19 is not the number one factor.
