    Good god the bad faith reading among many people mentioned in the study is crazy. It isn't calling you far-right nor alt-right. It's only talking about your connections and inadvertant promotions of the stuff, and the only thing everyone shares is a reactionary hostility

    Dear and ArenaNet I don't think Jessica Price and Peter Fries deserve to be fired in light of everything they've done for the studio, the games, and past interactions with fans. I don't think they have done anything unseemly or illegal or offensive. Take them back.

    Ah yes, the classic game "Who's going to be the next SCOTUS nominee".Trump and the GOP are definitely going to be making sure no moderate is going to be nominated, it's a matter who is the closest to the center. My choices are Newsom, Eid, Mansfield, Lee, and Barrett

    It is important to read the entire thread in order to get what she is saying.

    Unpopular opinion: Most of you dont want an actual gamergirl/nerdgirl. You want a girl that likes that YOU like those things. And accepts YOUR quirks and hobbies. You want someone that likes all the exact things as you. You wanna feel like you're the alpha nerd.

    When he accuses a journalist of shotty work, his followers will dogpile on that journalist and make his or life a living hell, even sending death threats. It doesn't matter whether you condone this act or not; this is the reality of the internet economy/culture we are living in.

    The internet has effectively streamlined the building process of creating a cult of personality. Now everyone can have a devout following that'll attack in your stead if your threatened. Elon Musk has shown this in full effect when he mentions journalists on his twitter feed.

    He sees himself as an untouchable demigod, and is surrounded by a complete cult of personality that will follow his whims to the grave. The ironic thing is that I'm seeing this trend across other famous people as well, whether they be YTers, politicians, etc.

    It is pretty apparent that people like don't give a flying hoot about journalistic integrity and standards, because regardless if the article is actually fair and uses facts or not, Musk will attack if the article presents an unfavourable light to him

    I don't know why so many people on both the left and right are against journalism now period (regardless whether any individual journalist is good or bad), but it does make me think that everybody in general wants to live in a totalitarian country that has no freedoms.
