    😵 My little bro was just announced as a new GP at . I’m so insanely happy and proud of him. That said I can’t wait to continue kicking his ass for years to come. PSA for founders: we are very similar but I’m 1 minute older and wiser. Also taller.

    This anti-Netflix slide from Blockbuster's 2007 investor day presentation is a great example of how and why Big Companies lose to upstarts. Emphasize size + breadth of resources vs. focused value to customer. That being said, love the design.

    TIL that Redpoint Ventures (early stage tech) and Versant Ventures (life sciences) were formed by splitting out of IVP (late stage tech) in 1999. Who knew?? All three have thrived. So much Silicon Valley and VC history I’m still learning 🤯
