Anyone know of any good resources to learn functional programming? I hear the phrase quite a lot, but don’t quite understand what “true” stateless functional programming is and how its paradigms differ from more traditional object-oriented patterns.
Right! However, usually in object-oriented languages, I find that the functional features are used for their convenience and style as opposed to writing truly functional code. That's part of where the interest here stems from.
