Texas twitter: put this in the category of things I never thought I would tweet about (although my niece and nephews probably would have loved this when I lived there).
As an Austin ex-pat who just moved to Nashville — which is experiencing a strikingly similar transformation in its identity, minus the Elon Musk — it is comforting to see these experiences put into words.

Last week I flew to Venice to explore the noisy construction of a 3,125-passenger ship that will eventually homeport in Galveston.
Lots of takeaways as I learn about this industry, but one that struck me: this ship will have $6M worth of art. ART.
