Ok. So this Ubuntu VM now successfully boots under Hyper-V. And now there's no decent video support?

Yeah Hyper-V has remoteFX but that only works for Windows based guest OSes I think 😕

IIRC it's supported in Ubuntu 18.04

I just had a look at this and it seems to offer enhanced features like screen resizing, accessing host drives, clipboard etc, but I’m not 100% sure on full remoteFX compatibility?

Either way you've got me interested now. Gonna download and set up an Ubuntu 18.04 VM 😚👌

Works for you, you say? Running some apt dist-upgrade here right now, to bring the VM to 18.04.

Ran an installer from the GH I linked. Also can't use autologin (X11-problem)

The Ubuntu VM in the gallery will not have remotefx but it will have high DPI support, shared clipboard, and you can share C: (or other drives) for file sharing. No manual setup for xrdp or for integration components (things like hvc ip ubuntuVM will work). Thanks for testing!

Got the enhanced session up and running. Much better performance than before, but e.g. scrolling in Arom is still feeling very sluggish. Is RemoteFX support on the roadmap somewhere?
